Keyless entry for 1996 Volvo 850?

Hello All,

I recently purchased a 1996 Volvo 850. For the holidays, my in-laws would like to buy my wife a keyless entry (remote) for the car. Does anyone know if this type of feature is compatible with my car?

Located on the top center of the dash should be a small pyramid toped with a red bulb. if there you have the system. For '96 the most common remote fob is square in shape . Sorry I don't have the PN
