92 740 stereo stolen need advice Topic is solved

Wagon was broken into, window broken. In Brooklyn

It must have been original cause face was not removable. Brand was Premier?? Want to replace it with something used off ebay but wonder will most car stereos fit? Mechanic says I need an adaptor kit- sleeve like item. Any advise? clare in bklyn

Yeah unless you put a stock sterio in you'll need the adapter

I just ordered an adapter on-line....just google "volvo multi kit" and you'll get lots of hits.
