93 850 IDLE fluctuating (Help)

I have a 93 850 GLT, 20 Valve, 5 cyl. I have recently replaced my fuel injectors with an after market supply after my dealer noted that I have several problems with the existing ones. The car ran well for about 2 weeks. Now, once the car is warm, the car would idle from 1200 to 1700 rpm every 3 seconds. I don't have the device that would capture codes. Can any one suggest a low tech method of checking common parts to save me some $$ bringing it to the dealer?

You might also want to clean out your idle air control valve.

Can this be cleaned? Or do you just mean to clean the electrical connector and tube connectors?

Yes it can be cleaned - Get some throttle body cleaner and remove, spray, air dry, and replace. While you are waiting to air dry, remove the flame trap and dispose of it. Remove your throttle body and clean it up. Check the elbows on the vacuum system and put it all back together.

Thanks for the tip. One last question, can I spray into the connectors?

Hhhhmm, not a good idea. If you want to clean up the connections, I'd suggest some contact cleaner of even denatured alcohol would work.

Well, I've cleaned the original IAC valve but it didn't help. I replaced it with a used / fully functional one and still the same. I think my next step is to replace the TPS. When the RPM drops below 800, i hear a beeping sound near the fuel injectors, I wonder if that's normal. It sounds like a beeping pager when it goes off. Any comments out there would help.
