1995 850 diagnostic codes reset

i just got all the codes off my diagnostics unit, but now im trying to figure out how to clear/reset them and make that pesky check engine light go away

Once you have read all the codes, push the button for that port for 6 seconds. It will then flash at you, and hold it for another 6 seconds.

When you push the button again, it should flash back a 1-1-1 at you.

so you have to put the prong in each port to erase them?

Yes, each one that shows codes other than 1-1-1. For a CEL, likely A6, A7, and A2.

You also need to read all of the codes before you can clear them.
