RAM intake is only going to help you at high speeds, is likely to suck up water in the rain, and will eat away at your low end torque. It'll feel like your get-up-n-go, got up and left.

These engines have a tuned-length cold air intake from the factory. It's not easy to do better.

If you really must have more oomph from your NA, try:

0, standard tune-up items.

1, K&N panel air filter in the factory box.

2, look for an intake manifold from a 10V version, with split channels, a flapper, and a solenoid. You'll need to wire a control to the interior; I've never heard of how to get the ECU to use it automatically.

i know it wont give me any hp it also wont loose any by any means as long as u do it right as long as its boxed of and has the factory cold airintake hose going to it but im planing on making my own cold intake as well just threw the bottom of the grille with a chrome induction funnel just for sh<tz and giggles i like the look and sound of the cone filter and if i can get colder air to go into the box i make in theory it should help with something but im not expecting hp gains or gas mileage
