Service due message light

Hi can some one tell me how to get rid of the service message light that comes up for a few miles on my V70? It is not due for a service for another 6 months so it is annoying? Thanks

Our engine management computer is ODB-II. However, our cars have several Volvo-specific computers, as well. I am not familiar with 2001 model years, but my guess is that you need a service light reset tool just like the rest of us.

Check the owners manual I believe The S/V/C can be reset without a reader
