Nice grey 7 series wagon leather interior in junkyard in CT
I was prowling in a junkyard in Norwalk CT (LeBlanc's), and they have a 1990 740 wagon with a surprisingly good leather interior, including the drivers seat. No rips, a nice car before its terminal collision. I bet the seats can be had for cheap, how many people are looking for them anymore? I got the plastic piece between the front seats, complete with heater switches for 10 bucks. The bigger junkyard next door (LeJoie's) doesn't allow people in the yard anymore - too many kids stealing stuff.

Someone else here is from the Norwalk area
Thanks for the heads up. I ran down there today to see if it was still there and they actually have 3 Volvos, the 7xx wagon, an 850, and a 2 series. I felt like a kid in a candy store. I didn't have enough time to really get into it and talk to them but I'm going to try and get back there tomorrow. Lots of good parts left in all the cars.
Hi:
When I was removing the plastic piece from between the front seats of the wagon, I took off the latch receptacle from the console cover and put it on top of the passenger seat. It's small, about 1" square. If it's there, could you grab it and I'll arrange to pick it up or something? thx

Sure, I'll be there today and will look for it. I'll probably take alot of stupid little trim stuff my car was missing when I bought it. I'll let you know if I can find it.w261w261 wrote:Hi:
