Turbos!!!

How to go faster, stop quicker, and turn harder. Chips, exhaust, larger turbos, bigger/slotted/drilled rotors, high performance brake pads, manual boost controllers, performance shocks/struts/springs, airbox mods and more! Also discussion on HID and Xenon lights, aftermarket foglights and other exterior lighting.

"Failing under moderate loads in stock tune"
"High Speed distance cruising is potentially dangerous"

Really?

I suppose that's why I have nearly 250k miles on my 98 GLT... I'd say AT LEAST 200k of those miles are highway miles at speeds of 70-85mph.

I guess there is no love for non-R owners. George at Vivaperformance has been great to respond to my millions of questions about the RICA, IPD took 2weeks to get back to me. George been taking more and more time in between responses but if he answers my last email about Rica diagnostic check and code reset being the same as MTE's offering I will pull the trigger on it and buy it. I was planning on getting a Dice anyways at $450 might as well get a softloader with diagnostic instead and offset the cost.

The email above had me thinking of pulling the head off and getting forged piston's and rods as all I would have to do is a glaze breaker or light hone with only 13K miles on the car. But I'm going to crazy with this thing I think I should try the ECU,downpipe and S60r manifold and see were I'm at before going any further. I'm just a torque monger and like a little more pep to my current step to get me out of soccer wagon to sport wagon territory.

Uh, not to mention 14+ psi would be unrealistic, even with a 15G. I'm stock @ like 8. I'm not about to try to overboost.

But there is a contradiction IPD's own web sites states it http://www.ipdusa.com/Volvo-S70V70-P80/ ... -372-2189/

Say for V70 AWD 2.4T 1999-2000 boost is raised from stock 8 to modified 14 is this right??

Say for S/V70 2.4T 1999-2000 boost is raised to 12 but denotes the same Hp and torque numbers??
