which aftermarket exhaust?

which exhaust should i go with on my 01 v70 t5 manual? I like the sound of the evolve exhausts, i don't know if i should go with the downpipe also. I Am also thinking about ipd and euro sport tuning,any info would help.

Find a reputable local speed shop/custom exhaust shop.

Tell them you want a 3" turbo-back mandrel bent exhaust. Make sure you get a good muffler (magna flow, flow master, dynamax etc), hi-flow cat (or none if you live somewhere you can get away without one), and decent exhaust tip.
Should cost you less than any kit (except the cheap ass OBX), and fit and sound better.

I am a fan of IPD (ECU, sway bars, and much more), but the exhaust on my 97 850-R was just too loud for me, my wife and my neighbors. Plus, tjhe harmonics inside the car only made it worse. Couldn't hear the radio (or maybe that's why we get these exhausts?). I went to a local custom shop in Portland and they took care of all the issues and very reasonably. It's going on 6 years and not problems.

SIm who did you go to and how much did you pay? I live in Tualatin and I have S70T5 and i am wanting to get a turbo back done

Glencoeteen, I can't recall the shop but they are located very close to IPD, over south of the airport. I'd need a phone directory to find it again. They were very easy to work with and did the job while I waited (one of the guys went to a warehouse to get the "right" muffler for me) while the other fabricator went to work on the cutting and welding (we lived in Tigard at the time). I will have to try and look them up, if not I'll have to look around next time I am at IPD, I swear i spend too much time there anyways. cant wait for them to do the Garage sale! I am going to go crazy there, Sway bar's, end links, strut brace! but thank you for letting me know

They are maybe a mile south of IPD, west of Airport way a couple or 3 blocks. Maybe in the yellow pages? It's been about 6 years....
