ABS unit remove and test - new (or used) screws needed

Post by avdberg2 »

Hi All,

Just a question about ABS unit repair. Finally a removed the unit from y car....bolds are rounded...and appearently trown away...so i don't have the bolds anymore...so question one is:
I just soldered the broken powersupply connector...but now a need the screws to put it back into my car

- Does anyone know the size related to this 4 screws ?? ...mm x ...mm

Is it possible to test the unit without screw it back to the car...so i know that it's working...

REGARDS,

aRJAN

those are E5 torx screws. Why would you throw them away? I guess you could use other screws to hold the unit.

solder EVERY pin on the connector area. Some of those are almost guaranteed to be broken or will be soon.
