1989 740GL cuts out on acceleration

Post by guest »

I have a 1989 volvo 740GL with a B230f NON-TURBO. When I start it up in the morning it runs fine, until I go about 200yards, then it starts acting up. it spits a sputters and barely goes until I go another 100-200 yards then it runs GREAT. I replaced the fuel filter, it didnt help much, i checked wires, coil and plugs they are fine too.... Anybody have any idea what could be wrong? I was thinking either TP sensor or the fuel pump. The strange thing about all this is, if the car is fairly warm, it goes fine. HELP!!

I have the exact same car.. had the same problem.. It could be the fuel injectors. That was my problem.
