Okay,
I need a NEW elbow to cure my 232 code. I can clearly see it split wide open, just after the small clamp by the manifold.
S-o-o-o, is it possible to replace this elbow WITHOUT removing the Intake Manifold? I'm seriously worried about the Aluminum threads getting stripped. I have stripped a few bolt-heads at the junkyard, and would like to fix my 232 error without major surgery.
Thanks.

Sure. If you can still grab the end of the hose it's attached to.
If not run a piece of vacuum hose over the top of the engine instead.
Long pliers and someone with small hands will be a great help. I had to remove the upper coolant hose to reattach mine.

Over The Top sounds good to me!
Is there a "pic" you can point me to for the other end? I haven't figured out a way to remove 1 stripped bolt on my spark plug cover. I'm
thinking of drilling it, but at this point, the mpg is a bigger concern. Trying to cover all the vacuum issues before changing the O2 sensor. I can't find one at the junkyard--everybody keeps cutting the catalytic converters out & taking the O2's.

On a turbo it attaches to the PTC nipple at the rear by the turbocharger. There are three lines there - the vacuum line is the smallest and connects to the side of the valve with the big fat hose on it.
See my PCV writeup pinned at the top of the 850 forum for a picture - I'd link to it but I'm answering from my phone
