After driving at highway speeds, I get into stop and go traffic and the car begins to miss and it progressivly get worse til it no longer will run. Throws a codes P0300, P0301, P0304, P0305, and P0172 . This problem started about a month and a half ago while in the car wash ( didn't think I was coming out of there.). It's also hard to start. Looking for any ideas where to start. Already checked the elbows.
I have a OBII scanner w/LIve data and the the only thing I see that might b a problem is that it says "Fuel Bank 1 CL-Fault"
Misses badly 96 850 GLT

The P0172 is a vacuum leak and is unrelated to the misfiring.
I'd say pull off the distributor cap and look inside for water. Same goes for the spark plug wires into the wells.

FIXED! The last place I would have thought. Took out fuel pump to check filter sack on bottom of pump and it turned it was not clogged but, while checking it the little fuel line inside cartridge came off. I thought that was a little too easy for that to happen. The clamp was fully closed, but, wasnt' holding at all. I decided to shim it so the clamp holds tight and it worked.jblackburn wrote:The P0172 is a vacuum leak and is unrelated to the misfiring.
