850 Radio Casette - need info please?

I have an 850SE fitted with a radio cassette model number CR-708 (3533153-1).

The previous owner never gave me the user guide for this and I need to know how to use it!

Does anyone know where I can get a user manual for this? or would anyone who has one scan it for me?

This is not the radio that came in the 850. Try the '92 or '93 940 or 960. You can search the owners' manuals here and then scroll to the audio section for each car. This will give you the information you're looking for:

Funny...

It was the slightly more complex setting up of RDS etc that I was hoping for, but sarcasm is always a good substitute for useful information...

Maybe it was fitted to the European models but not the US ones?
I doubt anyone would have retro-fitted another Volvo unit, usually if people are upgrading the sound sustem, they will go for a Blaupunkt or something... not a different manufaturers unit...? but yes, its possible it got swapped out at the dealer or something...

Hmmm. I had a look, but cant see anything relating to the radio.. I'll have a more thorough search when I get more time.

For the specific model year and model (I would try 940, 960), look for "owners' manual" and then in the owner's manual, click on the first page and scroll down for "audio." If you don't see your radio, then click back on your browser and try another car. In the U.S., the SC-811, SC-816, etc....an SC- series radio was used. Good luck!
