I WISH TO REMOVE MY RADIO TAPE PLAYER FROM MY VOLVO V70 YEAR 2000 TO REPLACE IT WITH A RADIO /CD/TAPE PLAYER BOTH VOLVO FITMENTS I'M NOT SURE HOW SOME ADVICE REQUIRED PLEASE.MIKE.

hi there and welcome. Please note that chat etiquette usually recommends you do not type in large caps.. it is considered yelling!
If you look at the sides you will see two slits. Press then in and they will pop out.. you use these "ears" to pull the unit out and replace it.
Before you do it, make sure you acquire the radio code. You should also have the radio code of the other volvo cd to make it work.

You don't have to disconnect the battery for removing the radio.
