s60r tires and calipers

Post by koffinb »

I'm looking to upgrade to 18" pegs on my t5, what are some good tires? I want to stay away from OEM only because of price, I know you pretty much get what you pay for.

Also can you install R calipers onto a t5 just for the R look??

Any info would help, thanks in advance.

I love the Toyo Proxies that I had on my S60R. Those things stick like glue.

As for the calipers, you can add them, but you will need special brackets to mount them. Also, you will need the S60R rotors.

Got Toyo Proxes 4s on the S60, got Sumitomo HTR ZIIIs on the Cayman, happy with both. If I were buying for performance now I'd get the Hankook V12. 280 treadwear and great stick.
