I have a 2002 Volvo S80 T6 and I have been doing some work on it. Now I want to see if my CEL goes away.. but I have to reset my codes! The dealer told me it is $45 to do this.... I thought resetting the codes was easy? Does anyone know how to reset the codes yourself?

Take it to AutoZone, borrow their scanner and clear your codes. This only works for the CEL, not gearbox, SRS or other codes.
