I mentioned in an earlier write-up that I had absolutely great service from Jim Fisher Volvo in Portland (OR) for getting the right fitting hoses to me really fast (for my PCV). Well, today I must have been talking to a new guy because he didn't understand what I was asking for; the air intake tube and attached extension from the filter housing to the front of the car on my 1997 850-R, the rubber mounts for the air filter housing, some of the smallest "clips" for the smallest diameter vacuum hoses which I can't seem to find anywhere else...etc.
Well, without the precise description and/or part number he was helpless.
Does anyone know who can help me with these sorts of requests? Also, is a DETAILED parts breakout available online to look up this sort of information for myself so I can order by PN?

That is the most valuable thing that VADIS provides. It isn't online but you can buy the DVD for under $20.00 on eBay or snag it for free on the P2P sites like pirate bay. The eBay sellers don't call it VADIS but they do refer to it as a "Factory Service Manual" and then list a ton of cars and model years - it is all the same. Also, is a DETAILED parts breakout available online to look up this sort of information for myself so I can order by PN?
Many of the part numbers have been superseded but once you call with the original part number the guys at the parts counter can get you to the correct part most of the time.
