2001 xc70 awd p0237 code Do map sensors go bad?
I'm getting a p0237 trouble code. I found the connecting pipe from turbo to have a crack. Replaced it, cleared code. The code comes back even when the car has not been started yet. Could the Map sensor # 0261230 029 be bad? it makes no difference when unplugged when engine is running.

It's possible that it's bad, that's a signal too low code, so either the MAP sensor is bad, or the wiring is damaged. Inspect the wiring, check for voltage from pin 1 to ground with the ignition on, it should be 5V. If so, the next troubleshooting step requires VIDA, but it's almost certainly a bad sensor.
