Last time I broke up with a girlfriend, I drove my S70 'till I got bored and ended up staying at a friend's house in Auburndale (60 miles from home...after having driven to Tampa and halfway back--a roughly 200 mile round-trip). I shudder to think how far I'd make it in the new S80...Georgia possibly.

I found driving on empty roads helps, I love the sound of music in my Volvo, too. Driving fast helps but it can be dangerous sometime if your mind is not clear.
I feel bad when it's could (no blue sky at all. There are tricks I found that helped: close your windown and blinds then turn WARM lights on everywhere the area you are in, and avoid looking outside the window. Going out to the mall with nice lightings may help also because they design the lighting to make people feel good. There is a catch though: you have to avoid the temptation of buying (retail therapy) because when the bill hits you, you'll feel down again.

^ Yea, watch out for falling into the spending trap to make yourself feel better. Feeling good lasts about 30 minutes, the bill can last a month or year (if you can't pay it off).
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

I so hear you Matt. I have to say I was on the receiving end of that before unfortunately. We all learn the hard way sometimes.
