steering wheel restoration
My steering wheel needs TLC, there is a good reputable company I have used in the past which sells leather restoration kits, but they need exact Volvo color name , not the interior color number.I could send them, of course, a swatch sample, but who wants to cut piece out of almost new interior. Does anyone know the int. color of '98 T5 with exterior color Emerald Green? Thanks.

The interior color code is stamped on the metal plate next to the battery. If you compare that info with what you'll find here:
http://www.volvoclub.org.uk/850plates.shtml - it may help. If you look at the bottom of section 2, you'll notice the color names:
3 = Blue
4 = Red
5 = Beige
7 = Grey
Odds are good you're looking at gray or beige, right? Seems odd that they need the name and not the code - but that's just me.
