This March, we bought an '04 S-60 w/ 46,000 miles and my wife loved it for the first month. just before It threw it's first code (P2111 mod $11 throttle actuator control system stuck open). It had a weak and unresponsive accelerator, rough idle, etc After clearing that one, it threw another about two weeks later (P2135 mod $11 throttle/pedal position sensor/switch a/b voltage correlation. We thought that it was us not tightening the gas cap. No luck
When I scanned it yesterday, it showed a P2135 like before. along with a P0221 (throttle/pedal postion sensor b range/perform. In addition, it showed a P0121 throttle/position sendor A, a P2135 (again), along with a P0507 (idle air control/stem rev per min higher than expected. Finally, the 6th code recorded was a another P0121.
I went to Advanced and Oreilly to buy a throttle position sensor, only to find that it's a OEM part. I don't want to spend $200 on a switch if there's not a high probability of success.
Any help would be appreciated. This is the first car that we have owned that I've felt like a defeated backyard wrench.
p2135
Too many codes and still counting... S60 advice?

The problem with generic code readers is the lack of specificity.
I'm unsure from those codes if the problem is accel pedal module or the electric throttle.
213, 0121, and 0221 seem to be APM but 0507 and 2111 point at ETA.
Both parts use two internal sensors for verification. The accel pedal transmits one as analog and the other as digital. The Bosch ETA on that car uses two analog pots to track throttle blade travel.
46K is way low for an ETA to fail from what I have seen but stuff happens.
