Hi,
Just for my knowledge, I would like to know where I can find prices for buying a brand new automatic transmission and a brand new engine (all Volvo OEM) for my car.
Can someone direct me? Google would only give me used / scrap yard parts.

Any dealer.
They will be the only source for a "new" drivetrain. You can get a rebuilt engine and transmission for many different Indy shops. The next best alternative is a used engine and trans from a salvage yard.

Most dealers won't give you a new engine either...maybe our cars are too old for them too. I've heard over and over on other boards that they will do either an engine re-build or put in a "remanufactured" but warranted motor. Same story on transmissions.
