Limited slip differential
I have a 2000 C70 HPT. Problem is when you step on it hard the tires spin like crazy on dry pavement. Does anybody know if you can install a limited slip differential in the C70? Does such a thing exist? And would it have any adverse effects on the handling. Or would the traction control make a limited slip diff redundant. IMHO it doesn't make sense to boost the hp of this car if its just gonna trash my tires quicker. Thanks

Quaife also makes an excellent one
The problem is installation, it's VERY difficult and very expensive
I had the priviledge to drive a radical Manual converted 850R a couple of years ago.
This R had way over 300 hp.
I punched it coming out of a first gear corner and all it did was dart (rather leap) forward, didn't feel like a FWD car, it was unreal!

Maybe you just need more appropriate tires.

He means a tire is spinning BOTH can't spin (unless he already has a LTS which he doesn't)!

Yes I meant tire singular. I don't think I've ever heard anybody use the phrase "spun the tire". Inaccurate as it might be "spun the tires" is the phrase most people use.

Installation isn't as expensive or difficult as one might assume, given you have a lift and someone with the tools and a link to the guide.
