2003 Volvo S80 T6 Transmission Problems
2003 Volvo S80 T6 Transmission Problems
My car does not move when placed in drive and given gas, however it will move in reverse. When it is manual mode it will only move when in third gear. It did not give any codes indicating a problem and the orange or red triangle warning light is not on. What could possible be the problem? There is ample enough fluid. I am at my wits end.

The good news: there is a chance your transmission is not dead.
The bad news: it's not a good chance.
XC90 T6 models are known to have high transmission failure rates. The transmission was not up to the job of moving the XC90.
Some have gotten help from Volvo North America, others haven't. Look through the comments in these Repair Database posts:
