Motor Swap
I've read all of the post of how it is way too expensive to add a turbo to an N/A 850. But would it actually work if you could just get the turbo motor and wiring harness. Also are the N/A trannys different from the turbo tranmissions?

It's not all that hard.
Figure out something for fuel and ignition, and figure out something for the oil and coolant feeds (if it's a water-cooled turbo).
You could *probably* use the stock turbo engine management, but with the higher compression, you'd have to figure something out about retarding more timing under boost than stock. An MSD BTM would probably do the trick. Personally, I'd just go with a programmable EMS, but that's just me. *shrug*
Despite what all those stuck in the 60s will tell you, high compression and boost are a beautiful thing when managed well, especially when you factor tight squish into the picture.
