New member, wheelie confused.

Hello,
just joined the forum. I've looked at it several times before. Bought a V70 D5 last Saturday. Met Red with white leather. 100,000 mls. Drives like a new one. Already love it.
Failed question while registering on how many wheels does a car have? Thought it was a trick one. I said 8 based on; 4 road, 1 spare, 1 crown, 1 fly, 1 steering.
Anyway I got through. looking forward to driving my V70.
First request. How do I remove Daylight Running Lights. I've tried all the available advice. Like ign on then pulling indicator stalk. Not sure about advice to go taking H/light relaysapart and cutting wires. Is only sure way to get ECM re-programmed by VIDAS.

Yes, it is only a setting changeable by Using VIDA. Any other way also kills headlamps for normal use.

Wait until you need to go to the dealer for something that needs VIDA (computer) then ask the mechanic at the same time to just switch them off (for free)!
(Usually works for me)!
