What is a VOM?

Volt Ohm Meter, I guess the current versions are all digital and DVM (Digital Volt Meter) is a better term but I'm kinda old school. I have both versions and sometime the old analog meters can give you better information off of sensors.

Yes,progress has been made! Finally got time to trouble shoot my fuel system. And the culprit seems to be the fuel pump relay. I jumpered the #15 and #87 spade points and the fuel pump ran, and the car started and ran! So, now it is either replace the relay with a $36 one from FCP Groton, or do the capacitor replacement that I saw somewhere. I think it is here on Matthews, but haven't located it yet.
