Radio going on and off on XC70 2004

Hi, My radio was going on and off itself for a while but now it won't go on at all. Can anyone help and tell me how to remove the radio for checking. Thanks

Hi - I have the same problem with my V70 - did you find out how to remove the radio or what the problem was ?

the radio and climate control module come out as 1 unit.

Lift the plastic cover around the gear selector. There are 2 torx screws at the bottom of the CCM. Remove the screws and lift unit up and backwards.
