2000 S70 GLT...Check Engine Light just came on??!!

help..this car only has 33,000 miles on it...regularly serviced runs super..all of a sudden this afternoon the CE light comes on..yes, the gas cap is tightly on...we're in northern California.....called our regular Volvo guy in Los Angeles he says as long as the car is running fine there's no big deal..and yes the car is running great....never the less...I'm still nervous about this and we'll be taking it to a nearby dealer to have it checked. Meanwhile, I've looked this stuff up..it's something that seems to occur rather frequently.....anybody have any answers about this?? This is my first Volvo. PS..we're still under warrenty...is this covered?
