You have two days to edit any of your posts after you make them. Then they're forever etched into the Granite Wall of Internet Volvo Discussion.
I've found that without an editing window, he-said-she-said things start to happen. People can go back and quietly change things. Ninety-five percent of the time this would be fine. It's the five percent I'm worried about. (I got really burned once by a guy posting about his stage-3'ed S60 R... I put it in the Repair Database's Volvo Performance section even. Then a week or two later he edited the whole thing out, images and all. Grrr.)
If you have a change to make, please do bug me to make it (really, I mean it, it's no problem). Or post again in the topic, saying "I'd like to clarify: blah blah blah".
JRL often has me change head posts of his Volvo Classifieds cars because he details them a few days after he buys them, and they look much better. Like I said, I'm happy to do this.

Also, I'm a pretty hardcore believer in free speech. If you're read George Orwell's fantastic book 1984*, you're remember that the protagonist's job is to revise newspaper stories from the past. Literally, he would change the stories' sentences when the order came down from the government. Not to get too off topic here
, but I needed to add that.
* I'm well aware that 1984 is a vastly over-referenced in politics, journalism and the like. But it fits, so I'll continue the overuse.

And chances are, as the resident grammar Nazi, if your grammar or post annoys me, I'll edit it
