i HAVE A 2003 S60, NO OIL PRESSURE, dropped pan, can i remove the oil pump screen unit?

You should be able to. I'm not sure if it's the same as my 2000 XC, but there should be a couple bolts where the pickup tube connects at the top. Unbolt them and the whole thing should wiggle down.

Make sure you're replacing all the o-rings in there!
