Looking for a wagon

I have an 850 sedan now but I want to upgrade to a wagon. I know there are lots of issues with the 2001 xc70 but does that also apply to the v70? I see quite a lot of the 2001 models for sale and I'm just wondering if there is a reason.

I have had a 01 V70 2.4T for about 6 months now. I bought it with 113K miles. The dealer reaplaced the timing belt, cleaned the PCV sustem, flushed the transmission, did a tune up, and changed the oil prior to delivery.I have only had minor issues and have been very satisfied with the car. I have replaced the 2 O2 Sensors, did an Amsoil motor flush, changed the oil, cleaned the MAF, and changed the plugs in putting another 8K miles on it. The things I would look for is the timing belt being changed around 105K as well as a trans flush. I am getting 21 city and 27 MPG highway. The were a couple of recalls that should have been taken care of and there's an extension on the ECU warranty for 10 years. Look for those things on the Carfax and if they're done you will likely be fine. Good Luck!

Stay away from 2001s unless it's a manual and most 02s too
If you're anywhere near the Northeast I'm sire I can find you a very good wagon
