Any S40 Buying advice?

We need a second car and I'm thinking about an S40 to compliment our V70. I'm wondering if there is anything I should know about this model? Were there better or worse years? Are there known problems? Any repairs that should have been done by this point? Or repairs that need to be done often? What's the timing belt interval?

Any idea how long they last? I'm looking at a 2002 with about 120k miles on it and wondering how much farther I can drive it. I think it's been well taken care of, but generally how many miles do they last?
