1999 s 80 t6 lack of top end power

Hi, 1999 volvo s80 t6 154k miles, Engine idles smooth, but it has a slight shutter when I accelerate hard and does not have follow through power when I floor the gas pedal, low end power seems fine, just when I floor the car around _+4000 rpm when the thin turbo is supposed to kick in the power curve flattens.
Any Ideas?

Check engine light on? The turbos in the T6 are tiny spool up around 1800-2200, not 4000. Check all vacuum connections, post any codes the motor has thrown. The T6 doesnt have much top end, its all bottom and mid with a strong steady pull with no major peaks.
