ScanTech Fuel Pump

Post by schmidm90 »

I bought a new ScanTech fuel pump for my 2000 V70XC and now after 3 months it is not working again. Call up the place I bought it from and they are going to get me an OEM Volvo one for no additional cost... Should have spent a little extra and gotten the OEM Volvo one in the beginning. Never going to by Scantech again...

You're lucky that they're sending you an OEM! Most places just replace it with the same product you purchased. I pay a little more for OEM but it's worth it in the long run.

Yea I called them and told them I would return it for store credit but I didnt want another one and that I was going to buy a more expensive OEM one and the guy said that he would get me an Original Volvo pump, not additional cost. I have also been buying parts from them for years for my VW. I would recommend International Autoparts, very friendly and they know what they are talking about.
