FUel Tank Cover 1996 Volvo 850

The fuel tank cover is locked even though all the other locks have released. I am almost out of gas. How can I get it to release?

All doors and truck have been locked and unlocked many times in hopes of having it make a difference. No Go So Far.

Verify that all passenger's doors are unlocked. I have heard that you can release fuel filler door from inside of trunk.

Yes, Robert is correct...just lift the carpet up along the side of the trunk area where the gas cap is, reach in and you'll feel where you pull to release the latch. I had a stuck door too but spraying the spring hinge down with WD-40 has fixed my problem...maybe temporarily but at least it works again after 6 months of not working.

This thread was in the wrong forum until afternoon Tuesday, when I moved it.
