rough idle

i have 1990 740gl,b230f engine,regina.321 code.runs rough at start up,sometimes shuts off.always starts up.once car stays running,and i put in gear,it shudders.put in neutral for a minute,put back in gear runs fine. i have changed radio relay,cleaned throttle body,with new gasket,checked throttle switch for click,changed fuel pump relay.i have also put in new flame trap,wires,plugs,rotor,cap.car was running worse today,it hesitates on accleration.any suggestions,thanks

Code 3-2-1 is the cold start valve.

Disconnect the cold start valve connector. Connect ohmmeter leads across the cold start valve terminals. Reading should be 10 ohms. If it isn't replace the cold start valve.
