May be my first Volvo, 1988 240 with 53,000 miles

I found a one owner 1988 240 w 53,000. Leather interior, all power, perfect condition. The family is willing to sell it for $2100. Seems like a steal. What should this car be worth? I cant find anything comparable on line? Thanks for your input.

Where is it?
If it's in a Northern state and where they use SALT! Look for RUST, this car can be literally be falling apart by now so it needs to be checked out on a lift
Many suspension components may be rotted out (the rubber suspension bushings) and it costs a ton to replace them
Exhaust rusts, etc.
Has the AC been uopgraded to R134? Has the radiator been replaced, and on and on
You need to see their service records and have a qualified mechanic look at it for you, spend the $100 clams.
It will be the best $100 you spend on a used car checkout
