Repair Shop in Houston, TX

My mechanic's daughter will be going to grad school in Houston in the fall and he's looking for a referral for a good shop to work on his daughter's 2000 C70 while she's there. We're in central Massachusetts so the commute for him could get expensive. Thanks for the help!

If none of those are close enough for her, you might check around online. I don't know if you had thought about using Angie's List, but that could help narrow down the choices based on reviews. I know that I have a son going away to school as well and the last we thing he needs is to be stuck without a car!

Did your friend end up choosing a mechanic? Were either of the recommendations good for her?

I find myself in Houston, post-grad school and am also looking for someone to work on my Volvo. I'm planning on following up with those listed here, but thought I'd ask if you heard anything more about those two (or any others that she may have tried out in Houston).
