Hello everyone, I am a new member. I became a member because of the excellent post on changing my fuel filter (all the info I was getting had the filter in the tank).
I have a 2005 XC 90 2.5T AWD with all the bells. It has 120,000 miles. I had the 105K service done at the dealer cause of the timing belt change. I am a ASE diesel l mechanic and this is my first Volvo.
Lately, it has begun to stall at idle and sometimes hard to start. I pulled the P0089 code for the fuel regulator performance CEL. I just wanted everyone to know that I purchased a new Bosch fuel pressure sensor. When I recieve the sensor and install I will let everyone know if that cures the stall and the CEL. I will take some pics.

Installed sensor yesterday. Paid $148.00 online. Sensor held on by one Torx screw, T27 I believe. Cleared the code with a Mac scan toll. The Volvo now runs just like new. No stalling, no hesitation, and no CEL.
