blinking ac and rec lights / rattle from drivers side wheel

I have a 95 850 turbo. I noticed when it was cold outside that the recirculation and AC lights (red dots on console) would sometimes blink in unison for about ten seconds when I would start the car. Is this an indication of a problem? I also have a rattling sound coming from the drivers side wheel well when the suspension travels over mounds in the road and is much more prominent when it is cold outside. Is this a bushing, spring or strut problem? Thanks for your help

Yes, the blinking lights are a problem. Read your fault codes. Here, this should help: https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/ac_page.php

The wheel rattle could be a number of things from a bad strut, spring seat, strut mount or a swaybar end-link. I would suspect the endlink myself. Whatever you change on one side you should change on the other.
