Small Leak, Possible Diagnosis?

Post by Alwick »

I have a small leak, 3-4 drops daily, coming from the engine compartment. About midway back, on the driver's side. It appeared a couple weeks ago. All fluid levels look good. The turbo oil seal was supposedly recently replaced.
Car drives well and no burning oil smell.
Any thoughts? I'm taking it to the shop next week but would appreciate any input. Thanks.

Hard to say for sure, but what you described sounds like it could be a rear main seal leak. Better start gathering cash up now :? .

I'm sure hoping it's something else. Would a rear seal leak be off-center? As I said, mine's on the driver's side.

The rear of the engine is on the drivers side of the engine compartment.
