I took my Volvo a few times to Ken ( European Motor Werks) located on Sutherland Ave. He charges $ 75.00 an hour for labor but he seems to be honest though.
there is also a guy named Chris ( http://www.swedishcarpartsandservice.com ) i have never dealt with him my self but i heard
that he charges less than $ 75.00 an hour.
anyhow, you tell me if you have found any good honest reasonably priced Volvo mechanic.
Memphis is really far from Knoxville. Knoxville is in east TN while Memphis is in west TN . The distance between here
(Knoxville) and Memphis is around 400 miles.
i have friends who live in the Memphis area so, i will pass them the info about the Smisco Volvo.
bummer! do, though. I had my 850R inspected there and some work done on it before I came down from Chicago to pick it up. He went way above the call of duty to get it done in time and did really top notch work.
There is an indy mechanic that used to work for Clayton Volvo for years named John Bye who is a good Volvo mechanic in Knoxville. He works at European Motor Werks (mentioned above) currently, but he also works on his own and is an honest mechanic and a good guy. You could either track him down over at EMW on Sutherland Ave., or I could call him and with his permission pass along his #.
