1989 740 turbo My over drive does not work need some help :(

I have a 1989 740 turbo The overdrive has not been working for the past month now, Once in a while the overdrive does come on. What should i do to fix this problem?

I had a similar issue with my 740....luckily it was a simple fix of replacing the overdrive switch/relay...as I recall about $20. Good place to start.
