internal light button felll off

As 850 owners all know, the internal light has 3 buttons. The middle button of mine fell off so that the light can't be turned on anymore. I'm not a handyman and I'm not sure if it is the type of thing a mechanic can fix. Where would I go to have it fixed? What sort of price would I need to pay? Is this a common problem? I drive a 1996 850 and I live in Australia so information specific to US is not applicable.

A local mechanic fixed it for me 65 $Au to replace it including labour.
