You asked, "Is this the best forum for Volvos?" Well, I'm sure there may be others, but this is the first one I found and the one I visit the most. I have seen some very knowledgable people out there who have shared greatly with others regard Volvos.
Now, I did look back to see your first post. You had a question regarding the overdrive malfunctioning in your 740 Turbo. Let me assure you, if I had any knowledge on this subject to share, I would have. However, my 740 is not a turbo and I have a four-speed automatic without an overdrive unit. So I am not much help. I have seen many past posts regarding the overdrive transmissions and their tendency not to shift into overdrive. I would suggest you do a keyword search of this forum with "overdrive" to find these posts, if you haven't already done so.
Now I have made numerous posts to this forum over the past year and a half. I have asked at least one question that never got a response from anyone. But I did not take the lack of response as a personal rejection, I just figured that no one else out there had anything useful to contribute on the subject.
So if you want to search for another Volvo forum, go right ahead. It makes sense to have multiple sources of information. But I hope you don't decide to ignore this site going forward. You will miss out on a valuable resource of information.
