Rear headrest removal v70

Post by jimtoy »

Does anyone know how to remove the outer headrests on in the rear seat of a V70 wagon?

The headrest interferes with my older child's booster seat.

The car does not currently have an integrated booster. I have two children, the infant is in the center.

Thanks for your help.

jimtoy,

Did you ever have any luck with removing the rear headrests? One of the "Guide Bushings" on my V70 broke in half and I need to replace it. The bushing is the black plastic piece that remains in the seat when you raise the headrest. It is supposed to stay down while the steel posts are lifted and folded forward. I need to remove the other bushing to be able to reinstall both posts of the head rest at the same time.

Thanks for any help with this.
