Goals:

a) make pages "lighter" - served faster, less data to move
b) look better

First major overhaul since October 2008. 'Bout time.

Still not done. Every time I see something that isn't great I spend 15 hours doing it, then deleting everything I've done six times over, then redoing it. The seventh time usually is good enough, or I just fall asleep on the keyboard and forget that I was changing something when I wake up and move on.

When I'm done, I'll be happy to take complaints or notice about this or that that's broken.
