Very quick question for those with VADIS

Post by 850_GLT_Owner »

I can't find my VADIS disk and need to look up a part number for a 97 850. The details are unimportant but for those who are curious, I had to use a bolt out of my control arm kit on my already replaced control arm because I didn't notice the stripped nut and it never fully tightened. The nut had to get cut to get it off. I need to get the nut and bolt part number that locks the ball joint into place so I can use it to replace the control arm the kit came with.

You're looking for 965195 (screw) and 971099 (lock nut).

Just called volvo they said the part numbers were different. Maybe they changed the part numbers but what the guy told me was 988185 for the bolt, 987891 for the nut. Kind of curious to find out what the difference in numbers are.

The number that JB gave you are for a M12 bolt and nut. The number that the parts guy gave you are for a M10 bolt and nut.

Hope this helps.
